Installazione volante o sedili.... airbag?

Non so ? strano... se tu misuri con il connettore attaccato misuri tutto il complesso ? non ? giusto... la misura giusta ? misurare solo il "lato verso l airbag" ma a te da zero ohm (strano) ma anche fosse giusto zero se tu come hai fatto hai fatto un corto sul contatto dovrebbe spegenrsi la spia... non ? che bisogna staccare la batteria per resettare tutto prima?

Prover? a staccare ENTAMBI i connettori e vediamo che mi dice (lato-sedile)...

Prima di operare sui vari airbag, connettori ecc... ho staccato la batteria, quindi ho resettato per forza di cose...  :cry:

Ieri sera c'ho lavorato un p? ma senza esito  :cry:
Ai due cavi lato auto, con chive posta su ON ed airbag scollegato ho 12,5V..
Se collego l'airbag, metto la chiave su ON scende tutto a 0V......
L'airbag continua a darmi resistenza 2 ohm sia collegato che scollegato.
Se metto in corto i due fili lato-auto senza airbag, la spia rimane accesa.
Bho... non so proprio che dire

Allora prova a mettere una resistenza da 2ohm sara mai che vuole vedere proprio quella resistenza !

Da 2ohm non esiste ma c? da 2,2ohm non penso cambi molto ... oppure prendi un potenziometro piu piccolo che ce come valore e parti da zero ed aumenti provando a vedere se si spegne

Le trovi in qualsiasi negozio di elettronica coster? 5cent... oppure prendi un qualsiasi potenziometro lo tari a 2 ohm e fai la prova volante ci metti 5min

a questo punto inizio a pensare che la mia misurazione non ? poi cos? campata in aria  
certo che 2ohm son proprio pochi... non potevano metterlo in corto e basta??   sempre a complicare le cose!

Sorry it took so long to post, I don't always look nc.org. Anyways,  I just took 2 10ohm (1/2 watt) resistors and tied them in parallel and tapped them into the stock wiring harness and it turned of the light when i started the car.
BTW - I did talk to a TRD tech about this as I was ready to get a set of the TRD seats, but was worried about the side air bag. They told me this is how they would do it on their race prep cars. I then decided to get sparce instead of trd cause i like the material more.

QUI invece dicono:

once you remove the seat, disconnect the side airbag. if you insert your key and turn "on" the car, the air bag light will come one and start to blink. it won't trun off until you reconnect the air bag. to get around this you will have to jump the wiring harness with a 5 ohm reisistor. i bought a pack of 10 ohm - 1/2 watt resistors and used 2 of them in parallel to jump the air bag wiring harness. this will keep the air bag light off once your start the car.

you can try to disconnect the air bag first and see if the light comes and stays on, i wish if wouldn't but from my experience it did turn on.

E poi ci sarebbe anche la soluzione "software" a quanto pare  

I have Bride Brix II's in my car. All I gotta say is make good friends with you buddies at Toyota! I had the same problem but they overided it for me. *wink wink* Now my airbag light is off and they work properly. They can do this by plugging in to your car with a diagnosing tool. Good luck hopefully this works out for you!

ieri sera ho provato via OBD2 usando l'interfaccia elm323 ma senza risultati  ::  non mi rileva nessun codice c'errore.

Dai ? quello che ti dicevo io... resistenza da 5ohm a simulare l airbag... ma come ha fatto lo yankee ? una porcata, compra direttamente la resistenza giusta oppure un potenziometro da 10ohm con cui tari precisamente la resistenza sul campo anche a copensare eventuali tolleranze



Ti costa 1 euro e ti tolgi il problema... oppure prendi direttamente la resistenza di valore corretto 4,7ohm - 3,3ohm - 2,2Ohm le trovi tutte in qualsiasi negozio.

Probabilmente il tipo ne ha messe due da 10 ohm e 1/2W perché nello standard E12 non esistono resistenze da 5 ohm.... e quella da 4,7 ohm ? insufficente... possibile? :?:

il potenziomentro che consigli ? sicuramente valido, ma ora che lo taro divento pazzo... nel senso che ad ogni tentativo devo resettare tutto  ::
